Alexander’s Custom Stone & Landscape has proudly served Southern Maine since 2001, providing high-quality landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor improvement services. Founded by Craig Alexander, our company was built on a lifelong passion for transforming outdoor spaces, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
Our Story
Craig’s journey in landscaping began long before he started his own business. He first discovered his passion for outdoor work during his high school summers and continued developing his skills throughout college. After graduating from Lehigh University in 1993, Craig pursued his landscaping career, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the industry.
Following graduation, Craig moved to Oregon, where he was introduced to innovative landscaping techniques and more advanced approaches to outdoor design and construction. It was during this time that he developed a particular interest in hardscaping, specializing in stonework and creating beautiful, functional outdoor living spaces.
Eventually, Craig returned home to Maine, bringing with him the knowledge, experience, and techniques he had developed over the years. After working with several landscaping and hardscaping companies on both residential and commercial projects, he decided it was time to build something of his own.
In 2001, Alexander’s Custom Stone & Landscape was established with a simple mission: deliver exceptional craftsmanship, dependable service, and outdoor spaces that homeowners can enjoy for years to come.
What We Do Today
More than two decades later, Alexander’s Custom Stone & Landscape continues to provide personalized, professional outdoor services throughout Southern Maine.
Today, our work is primarily focused on residential properties, helping homeowners enhance the beauty, functionality, and value of their outdoor spaces. From small stone walkways and landscape improvements to complete property transformations, we approach every project with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Over the years, we have completed landscaping projects for three to four residential developments in Wells, Maine, along with numerous individual properties throughout Wells, Kennebunk, Cape Neddick, Ogunquit, and surrounding communities.
While landscaping and custom hardscaping remain at the heart of what we do, our services have expanded to include fencing, stone veneer, and light excavation. We also provide dependable snow plowing and shoveling services for both residential and commercial properties during Maine’s winter months.
